The Rukararwe tree nursery
The tree nursery of Rukararwe is a home for a number of indigenous species of trees and plants.
These tree-species, which are partially endangered of extinction, can only be seen in protected areas such as the Kalinzu rainforest.
In Rukararwe’s tree nursery they are nurtured.
Afterwards, they will be distributed to schools and communities to increase the protection of Uganda’s environment.
Furthermore a lot of species are adequat for the production of medicine.
This medicine is produced by Rukararwe itself.
